Northwestern University Libraries is a member of the Open Textbook Network (OTN) through the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois. The Library works with the Academic and Research Technology department and the Associated Student Government on raising awareness of textbook affordability on campus. In August 2017, Northwestern will participate in OTN's Train-the-Trainer program and will assist in state-wide OER advocacy efforts.
