Overview
There is not a great deal of formal OER activity on the UAB campus. Individual liaison librarians work with faculty and course designers to assist them in locating available OER for classes, but there is no formal OER program within the UAB Libraries. The UAB Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) recently started a pilot program, in partnership with the campus bookstore, to promote OER which is still in the planning stages. Librarians are working with the CTL to provide support for this program.
