Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) enrolls more than 12,000 students and is part of The Texas A&M University System. TAMUCC offers more than 80 degree programs, in face-to-face settings and online, including several doctoral degrees. At the moment, TAMUCC is just beginning to investigate open educational resources. As a first step, the Library established a committee comprised of classroom faculty, staff from key units such as the Office of Distance Education and Learning Technologies and the Center for Faculty Excellence and representatives from student government to work together in a cross-campus partnership. Current projects include an information campaign targeting faculty and students and identification of possible sources of grant funding.
