Roger Williams University is proud to be engaging its faculty with active discussions, programming and support for OER adoption and creation. The OER Faculty Fellows program is in its fourth year, awarding up to 7 faculty each year with tiered mini-grants to support the integration of OER into his or her course(s). The library receives financial support to fund this program from the Center for Scholarship, Assessment, Learning, Teaching, and Technology. In the 2019-20 academic year, RWU plans to continue to engage the student body in OER efforts as well as ramp up its publishing support for faculty creation/revision of open textbooks using Pressbooks.
